Davy Laboratories can establish a complete testing program ranging from the collection of samples through analysis. Samples can be analyzed for all four characteristics that define a hazardous waste: ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity, and leachability. The toxicity characteristics leaching procedure (TCLP) or the synthetic leaching procedure (SLP) can be used to determine regulatory compliance for the RCRA metals, volatile organics, pesticides, herbicides, acid extractables, and base/neutral extractables.
The results of analysis are compared to the classification standards and a determination is made as to whether the waste sample is hazardous or non-hazardous. The report compares the analytical results with the standards for easy comparison and review. We will also fill out the required regulatory report forms for state agencies.
